From June 16 to 20, the “ADVANCE Summer School on Cell and Gene Therapies”, which will take place.

Who is it for?
- Early-career biomedical academics (PhDs, Postdocs),

The interactive programme will include:
- Keynote lectures by experts in the field,
- Tour of ATMP production facilities,
- Hands-on activities (workshops and group assignments),
- Presentations of the research projects to peers,
- Plenty of networking activities and social event
This intensive and interactive one-week workshop will feature lectures by leading experts in the field of ATMPs. Participants will gain comprehensive knowledge of ATMPs, covering scientific, manufacturing, regulatory, and market perspectives. In addition to concise, practice-oriented lectures, the summer school will offer insights into the production processes of a biotech company. Throughout the week, participants will also work in groups on a project assignment focused on the development, manufacturing, and market translation of a selected ATMP.
An international committee will select 30 participants from all applicants based on CV and Motivation letter. UL FFA will cover the participation fee for selected attendees. To attend the workshop, participants are required to complete the online course “Cell and Gene Therapies – ATMP development”.
